Paul Heaton
Partner
PKF Upper Hunter has a rich history spanning over three decades in the Scone region, with our present premises serving as a home to accounting practices since 1945.
In 1975, Bob Rose, one of the founding partners of Rose & Partners (now PKF Upper Hunter), joined the accounting firm Scott and Champion. Bob ascended to partnership in 1979, prompting a rebranding to Scott, Champion, Rose & Morris. Subsequently, after a year of operations, the firm was acquired by Coopers & Lybrand, which provided accounting services to Upper Hunter residents for approximately 17 years.
During this era, John Hallett joined the team in 1982, followed by the addition of Paul Heaton in 1987. In 1999, Bob, John, and Paul united their expertise to establish Rose & Partners. Bob gracefully retired from the practice in June 2007. Presently, John and Paul lead a dedicated team comprising 11 professional staff members and four administrative personnel, all committed to delivering the highest standards in accounting and taxation services for our esteemed clientele.
