PKF Perth team raises over $11,000 for breast cancer research at Triathlon Pink

Each year thousands of women from across Australia take part in Triathlon Pink at WA Athletics Centre to raise funds for breast cancer research. And, this year, a team of women from PKF Perth participated raising $11,000 for the cause.

The event is designed to cater to all abilities. Some ladies completed the ultra and medium triathlons, while others took part in the 10km and 5km fun runs, all in the name of raising funds for breast cancer research.

Thanks to the support of our Financial Planning Licensee, the Count Charitable Foundation, all funds raised by the team at PKF have been double matched. This brings the total amount raised to $11,088. All funds raised go directly to the national breast cancer foundation to support research.

The PKF team was led by Kirsty Jones, Partner who believes Triathlon Pink is more than just a race. “Breast cancer affects thousands of women and their families each day. Unfortunately, everybody knows someone who has been affected by it which makes Triathlon Pink a deeply personal cause for many ladies who take part. With continued research and support, we can move closer to a future without breast cancer. I’m proud of the team for taking part in this great event to raise funds to support breast cancer research. We’re already looking forward to next year.’

Congratulations to everyone who took part.
