PKF Perth advise Dataline Visual Link on the successful sale to ASX-listed Intelligent Monitoring Group

The PKF Perth team is proud to have acted as financial and tax adviser to the shareholders of Dataline Visual Link Pty (DVL) in the sale of the business to ASX-listed Intelligent Monitoring Group (IMG).

DVL is a Perth based provider of high-quality and leading-edge electronic security solutions, including CCTV equipment, security, access control equipment, specialist detection and surveillance equipment, as well as monitoring and maintenance services. DVL customises solutions to help businesses solve complex security and technological challenges, are specialists in remote and sensitive environments.

The team provided lead sell-side advisory services including:

• Identifying and engaging with potential buyers

• Preparing a comprehensive Information Memorandum

• Conducting pricing analysis and providing advice on valuation as well as deal strategy

This resulted in an attractive offer for DVL that maximised exit valuation for the vendors with the most efficient tax structure.

PKF assisted the DVL shareholders throughout the sale process, including:

• Managing due diligence
• Assisting with negotiations of key commercial SPA terms
• Support through to transaction completion

This acquisition will help IMG to unlock further customer work and help them to continue to build a strong organic growth profile.
