We are looking for full-time/part-time accountants to join our Business Services team in our Brisbane CBD office, to commence employment as soon as possible.

Our Business Services team is an integrated group of specialists that deliver services specifically developed and tailored to each business, providing clients with sound financial strategies, reporting and governance. We can act as an outsourced role on the client’s management team, helping clients to develop better relationships with key stakeholders such as their banks and financiers.
About the role
We are looking for full-time/part-time accountants to join our Business Services team in our Brisbane CBD office, to commence employment as soon as possible. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to get a head start in their accounting career. Previous accounting firm experience is not necessary.

Regular on-the-job training is provided along with formal training conducted by both our in-house experts and external facilitators. This includes training and support provided for further technical studies such as the CA program.
Key responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Assisting with preparation of FBT returns
- Assisting with preparation of BASs and IASs
- Liaising with the ATO
- Reconciling accounting files (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.)
- Draft correspondence to clients
- Researching and assisting with preparation of tax advice and planning
- Other ad hoc accounting and administration tasks as and when required
What you need to apply
The ideal candidate will:
- Have completed or be in the process of completing an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)
- Be available to work a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, with some flexibility with regards to which days are worked
- Be expected to complete the CA program in due course
