The opportunity
This position lies within our Audit and Assurance team. You will be a team player with excellent initiative. Ability to build trust and relationships with clients and colleagues is key. Having strong communication and mentoring skills will assist you in providing support and guidance to the team.
You will be contributing to the team from day one and must be able to demonstrate the skills, motivation and commitment required to work on a wide range for technically challenging audit engagements across a multitude of industries.
You’ll have access to best practice data analytics and IT Audit for audit methodologies to ensure your clients and people obtain the best outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinating and delivering the audit engagement
- Reviewing financial statements and client reports
- Provision of on-the-job training for other colleagues as required, including supervision of audit team members
- Experience in similar Audit & Assurance environment with sound knowledge of AASB and AUASB
- CA/CPA full qualification or other relevant overseas qualification
- Exceptional client relationship skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Strong technical knowledge of the Corporations Act, auditing standards and accounting concepts
- Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies
- Review clients’ financial statements and ensure they comply with statutory requirements
- Investigate difficult technical and application issues to improve client outcomes
