Professional experience
With almost 35 years of experience as an adviser and the last 14 years in Managing Director and Chair roles, Steve has a deep understanding of the challenges often facing business owners and the information required to make informed decisions. This includes sound experience in governance as well as developing and implementing strategies that improve business profitability and cash flow.
Steve’s expertise covers business and strategic planning, succession and wealth transition, boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of data and reporting processes, and bringing teams together to solve problems and activate opportunities.
Steve has particular interests in Mining and Mining services with a family background in the industry, civil/ construction and agriculture where he and enjoys assisting a number of clients that operate in this space.
Steve thrives on the challenge of his Chair roles of PKF Australia and The Mutual Bank as well as his Director role in business advisory at PKF Sydney and Newcastle, bringing this experience to the table of a number of Boards and Advisory Boards across our client base.
Held closely by Steve, is his advisory board role of the Harry Meyn Foundation Ltd (Harry’s House), a not for profit charity Steve helped to establish following the loss of his nephew to a brain tumour in 2007. Harry’s house provides accommodation and a motor home for families with children who face or have faced cancer.
