Marcus has accumulated over 10 years' experience as an external auditor managing a large portfolio of clients across multinational, not-for-profit, public interest entities and ASX-listed companies.
Over Marcus' decade as an auditor he has worked across an array of industries and in his six years with PKF, he has developed significant experience in the healthcare, aged care, wholesale and manufacturing spaces.
With a hands-on audit approach, Marcus is responsible for the management of the audit process to deliver work in adherence with the clients' reporting expectations. He believes the external audit process goes beyond delivering independent financial statements and reviews, and instead uses his skills to implement risk-based processes and drive insights through the use of data analytics.
As an efficient accounting and technical specialist, Marcus is pragmatic in the way he works with his team. He is a team player who is always first to the scene to help his colleagues and gets his hands dirty to ensure the team reacts to complex situations seamlessly.
Marcus values service delivery and enjoys being a part of the incremental success of his clients. By gradually modifying, adjusting and refining internal processes, Marcus ensures his clients are on track to grow and thrive.
Recent examples of work include:
- Completed multi-year audits for numerous private entities within a sector being targeted as part of a large consolidation initiative.
- Engaged as an accounting expert to verify specific accounts in accordance with relevant Accounting Standards to support an acquisition transaction.
- Acted as external auditor for numerous securitisation trusts to assist with the aggregation exercise of the wider consolidated group.
