Luke’s specialist expertise and knowledge is predominantly in the areas of business advisory, business growth and development, taxation, restructuring, financial reporting, management accounting and finding solutions to business needs and problems. He has also assisted in a number of business sales and led a number of due diligence processes.
He understands the challenges and opportunities facing many businesses, having advised clients from a range of industry sectors and businesses of all sizes, from small family to large listed entities.
Luke has experience across many industries including but not limited to retail, property development, wholesale investment, manufacturing, professional services, logistics, construction, primary production, alcoholic beverage manufacturing and distribution, distilleries and wineries.
Luke has an established and proven skill set in business planning, licensing, sourcing equipment and materials, establishing a brand, manufacturing, building distribution channels, scaling up, capital raising, cashflow management, specialised taxes, government grants and running a medium size business.
Aside from PKF, Luke plays an active role within Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) as an active member of the Regional Chartered Accountants Panel.
Recent examples of work include:
- Deliver complex financial modelling for large businesses as part of a project evaluation and equity funding
- Asist a group of business owners to divest their businesses including end to end management of the process from information memorandum preparation to settlement calculations
- Assisting business owners with strategic and growth planning to transform their business.
- Navigating clients through COVID-19
- Successful implementation of business restructure utilising small business capital gains tax concessions
- Establishment of a private ancillary fund charity for a large organisation.
