After gaining hands-on experience in his father's accounting enterprise in Singleton, John's early exposure to the accounting world served as a catalyst, propelling his aspiration to forge a career in the profession.
In pursuit of the requisite knowledge and skills vital for success, John enrolled at The University of Newcastle, completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree.
In January 1978, a pivotal moment in John's career transpired as he secured a position within the tax department of Coopers & Lybrand's Newcastle Office. His dedication and expertise garnered recognition, leading to his appointment within the firm to contribute to the establishment of a new office in Scone in 1982.
It was in Scone that John not only achieved professional fulfillment but also cultivated a profound appreciation for the countryside.
With a professional tenure exceeding 25 years as a Chartered Accountant, John has evolved into a trusted advisor in the realm of business services. His extensive client portfolio spans diverse industries, encompassing rural, retail, and the services sector, among others.
