Professional experience
The cutthroat world of business was ever present in the Pike Household with Dean's parents owning various meat processing and butchering businesses and consequently Dean was directly exposed to business from a very early age right through to when his formal education finished. Later, those early years would serve him well by providing a valuable perspective and understanding of trade, owners, employees and customers that was not just learnt from a book.
Further background broadening including working at the Stock Exchange of Perth (ASX predecessor) price and sale Chalky whilst at University and later real estate and property studies enhanced his ability to provide tax, business and financial advice by applying a special understanding of the setting to the expert knowledge of the Chartered Accountant specialising in Business Services.
His career began with a prominent Chartered Accounting firm in West Perth before moving to the specialist tax consulting division of an International Firm and later a boutique firm.
Later he jointly founded a firm based on the ideals of quality and service and went on to grow it many, many times over. It was a live test bed to think and behave as a business owner and developer and grew to be ranked in the top 5 of its category in Australia.
This real world business experience together with specific professional expertise has proven to be a very successful combination in helping customers.
A Daily interspersion of supporting customers through the financial impact of inevitable life and business events, viewed from a detailed as well as strategic perspective and supporting their tax compliance obligations keep Dean fully engaged at the business coal face.
